May 11, 2009 In case you're wondering what's happened to us here at Spoon Gap Media, some good things have happened! A Penniless Christmas has been finished! This is a very happy thing, since this is only our second film, and it's nice to have another one under the belt. There are a couple of tweaks to be made before distribution in November, but those are very minor. In two weeks I (Benjamin) leave to help out some of my friends with their upcoming film. Well that's all for now folks! April 25, 2009 As of today all of the ADR for the film has been recorded! Hooray! Actually, one of the actors has to come back and say one line, but other than that, ADR is done! It has been the hardest part of the film, for sure. April 24, 2009 Video lock was acheived today!! 3/4 of the ADR has been completed and a little bit of Color Correction has been done. That needs to be finished, as well as music and a final sound mix. The trailer will be released in the next week or so. April 9, 2009 Today the lead actor is coming to record ADR. That will be a big step in finishing post-production. April 4, 2009 Today we wrapped the film!! Now all that is left is some ADR, music and color correction, plus some slight tightening on the edit. Some pics will be coming. March 28, 2009 Today pickups for the film were shot and some ADR was recorded. All in all the shoot went very well. There is still one more day of filming left, because we were rained out on our previous attempt. After that the film will be officially in post-production. While there are big gaps between shoots, we continue to make progress. February 21, 2009 The final film shoot for A Penniless Christmas is coming up in just one week. It is exciting to see this small film come together. A short trailer is in the works too. February 7, 2009 BTS from the third of four film shoots.

January 10, 2009 Here are pictures from the second film shoot. Unfortunately, the camera batteries died, and so did the backups. So we only got a few pictures.
Synopsis: John Dixon works at an audio-recording company. He works hard but barely manages to earn enough to feed his family. When the company is suddenly sued for copyright infringment, John is instructed to testify. He must choose between keeping his income or doing what is right. |
